- Get 1 tsp oil
- Take 4-5 Garlic
- Take 1 tsp Urad Dal
- Get 2 Dry Red Chilli
- Take 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander
- Make ready For Spice Powder———-
- Get 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Make ready 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- Get 1 Dry Red Chilli
Instructions to make Tomato Rasam:
- For spice powder, roast the spices and blend it into fine powder.
- For rasam heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Now add asafetida and mix well. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook 2-3 min. Now add turmeric and red chilli powder.
- Add water. Now add salt and jaggery. Mix well and let it to come boil. Now add ginger, and dal mix well. Cook it up to 3-4 whistle. Off the flame.
- Now heat oil for tempering, add urad dal, dry red chilli, and garlic. Saute for 1 min.
- Now pour the tempering and spice powder on rasam. Mix well and cook for min. Add coriander leaves. Rasam is ready to serve.
